I know many of you have heard it but doesn’t know what actually it means?

Right…(coz I was the same few months back😂)

Basically, it is a market that provides space to vendors to sell their crafts, products etc.

Best thing about flea is that you will see new designs/products every time.

It is a great experience to visit a flea market.

There are many annual ones too.

But here I will be telling you the ones that are famous and is opened for all days of the year.

This article is also best to share on the eve of International Women’s Day.

Who doesn’t love shopping?

We all do!

So here I have mentioned 10 flea markets in India which every shopper should visit.

1. COLABA CAUSEWAY, MUMBAI

It is basically a shopper’s paradise.
It’s an upmarket neighbourhood in South Mumbai Or SoBo.

You can find clothing, jewellery, handicrafts, books, accessories and so much more.

Colaba causeway is termed as the “CULTURE SQUARE” of Mumbai.

2. CHOR BAZAAR, MUMBAI

It is one of the best flea markets in India.

One of the important things to carry with you in Chor Bazaar is your haggling skill.

You’ll find best secondhand antiques and jewellery (in minimum rates)
It is also located in South Mumbai.

3. SAROJINI NAGAR, DELHI

You can literally grab some branded products at throwaway prices.

Previously it was called as Vinay Nagar.

Old tree lane
The babu market
Subzi market
Central market
Mandir wali side, these are the common markets in Sarojini Nagar.

4. KHWAIRAMBAND BAZAR, MANIPUR

This bazar is the main market of Manipur.

All shops are owned by women in this bazar.

It is so-called “ WOMEN MARKET”

It is located in the state of Manipur, i.e.: in Imphal. ( Capital of Manipur)

5. LAAD BAZAAR, HYDERABAD

Laad Bazaar or also known as choodi bazaar is a very old market located in Hyderabad.

It is popular for Bangles.

It is also popular for semi-precious stones, pearls, jewellery.

You’ll also find perfumes, traditional dupattas etc.

Only pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles and scooters are permitted to enter.

6. FERGUSSON COLLEGE ROAD, PUNE

It is a commercial street located in Pune.

Major attractions of this place are FOOD and FASHION.

It’s one of the best places for food and shopping; if you do love these two then this market is for you.

The major crowd that is found in this market are youngsters.

There are many cafes and great shopping brands like Zara, Van Heusen and many more.

In the case of the fast-food chain, there are many outlets like Dominos, Barista, Subway, Pizza Hut and much more.

7. ANJUNA FLEA MARKET, GOA

This market is worth a visit if you haven’t been to it yet.

At a very affordable price, you can get some lovely pieces.

You’ll find good clothing and many other things.

Officially the market opens at 10 AM.

8. BK MARKET, KOLKATA

This market is the shopping hub of Kolkata.

If you visit Kolkata, you must visit this market.

You’ll find everything from skirts to shoes, ballerinas and what not.

It is a shopping hub, especially for youngsters.

9. PARRY’S CORNER, CHENNAI

It is one of the busiest and crowded streets in the city.

It has all sorts of goods which are available at reasonable prices.

The shops here open at 11 AM and they close by 8 PM.

Perumal mudali street
Godown street Bunder street
Anderson street
Evening bazaar street
Stringers Street and many more.

10. FASHION STREET, MUMBAI

Fashion Street is located at M.G Road near Azad Maidan and is opposite to Bombay gymkhana in South Mumbai.

You’ll get all kinds of goods here from bags to clothes and shoes.

Again, you’ve got to have haggling skills if you want to shop at Fashion Street.

It’s a very large shopping place in Mumbai.
