10 Ways To Make Your Regular Boring Day More Exciting

Exciting day

Hello guys,

There’s this famous quote that can spark an interest to challenge yourself within you:

“If something that you’re doing doesn’t challenge you, then it doesn’t change you”

When you find yourself frustrated with where you are, it is the perfect time to Challenge Yourself!

Push yourself to go further.

I have chosen some great ways to challenge you everyday, scroll down and take a look.

Feel free to give a few of them a try yourself, and let me know in the comment section below what you tried today.

1. Read a book :

book

Are you a reader?

When was the last time you read a book?

Reading books give more information and knowledge, the more wisdom you have, the better equipped you are to tackle challenges in your life.

Best thing about reading books is that it reduces your stress when you lose yourself in a great story.

A well-written novel can transport you to other realms.

It also improves your vocabulary and grammar, remembering power and thinking skills.

2. Take a picture everyday :

photo

Taking random pictures everyday is good habit, whether it is of street dog, painted wall or of a old cycle.

According to a study, clicking a picture in a day is good for our overall health and well-being.

Taking a photo will also make you a better photographer, and good for those who are thinking of making a carrer in photography.

You are able to look back at any day of your year and recall what you did, whom you met, what you learned.

3. Smile even if you’re not feeling well :

smile

Smile, even when you are trying not to cry and the tears are blurring your vision.

Sometimes you have to stop worrying, wondering, and doubting.

Have faith that things will work out, maybe not how you planned, but just how it’s meant to be.

Don’t let a bad day, make you feel like you have bad life.

There are some people who always seem angry and continuously looking for a conflict.

Walk away, the battle they are fighting isn’t with you, it is with themselves.

4. Talk with strangers :

strangers

Talking to strangers in your college canteen, in your neighborhood, in the store or on your daily commute is often a challenge.

You believe or not, at some point, everyone is a stranger.

Most of us grew up hearing our parents say we shouldn’t speak to strangers.

However, talking to strangers is one of the more important things you can learn to do as an adult.

Research has found those who knew and trust their neighbors have a reduced risk of heart attack.

Turning your head and striking up a conversation with a stranger may look your face fearful of being judged.

This may be quite liberating and help you overcome fears you never thought possible.

5. Turn off the TV :

tv

Take the plunge and try not watching TV for a week.

At first it will be strange and awkward, but stick with it and soon you will love all the extra time.

Turning off your television will gain you, on average, about 4 hours per day, you can exercise or workout in this free time.

Television eats up your time and ruins your relationship, makes you overweight.

When you will do it, you feel so proud of yourself.

6. Use your opposite hand :

hand

It feels awkward and you are likely to have much less control over what your opposite hand can do, but when you use your opposite hand you are “growing” your brain.

Using your left hand might remind you how you felt when you were first learning to write your name, or tie your shoelaces.

You can use your non-dominant for brushing your teeth, opening jars, writing something, cleaning dishes, these things confuses your brain.

The brain is in charge of keeping you functioning and it does that with predictability.

7. Do a crossword puzzle :

crossword

Crosswords are fun and may improve your ability to find words, but they don’t help your brain’s overall cognition or memory.

A lot of people do crossword puzzles each day with the belief that this activity will help keep the brain young.

Playing crossword enhance thinking skills, improve your vocabulary and trivia knowledge as well as provide entertainment.

It helps in relaxation and boosts your memory.

8. Do something you are interested in :

art

This one is for mainly students, study something that you truly enjoy.

The biggest piece of advice I have for students – students of all ages is ‘this’.

Ask your heart, is that what you want from your life?

Don’t chase money and don’t major in something just to satisfy your parents.

Do what you love.

If you chase something you love, you can push to be the best in your field.

9. Meditate :

meditate

Meditation is a habitual process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts.

Stress reduction is one of the most common reasons because of which people try meditation.

Some forms of meditation may help you develop a stronger understanding of yourself, helping you grow into your best self.

Participants who meditated fell asleep sooner and stayed asleep longer, compared to those who didn’t meditate.

If your regular work and home environments do not allow for consistent, quiet alone time, consider participating in a class.

10. Put away your phone and observe the world around you :

observe

Last but not least, Put away your phone and enjoy the world around you.

According to the National Accident Helpline, 13 percent of mobile phone users have bumped into something or somebody while they were using their device.

I know it’s difficult for you, but at least try, maybe you feel great.

Reach out and hold somebody’s hand, write with an actual pen in notebook.

Feel the cool trickle of water flowing through your fingertips.

Play with a clay, read a book or give somebody a hug.

I hope you like it, I am not saying you have to do this thing everyday but you can try them some day.
