Oily skin care

Dealing with oily skin is not an easy task in this pollution environment, so make sure to apply these home remedies for acne in your routine.

Hey people!!

Just tell me one thing that how many of you guys have that unwanted shine on your face you cannot get rid of?

Do you know the reason behind it?

No? Yes?

Okay, then let me tell you what the actual problems you and your precious skin is having are and how to deal with it.

You must have often noticed that your skin becomes so oily that it ends up clogging your pores.

The problems of oily skin are uncountable and the root cause for this kind of skin is the large sebaceous glands in your face.

Their concentration is more in your face, and thus more secretion of oil takes place. This results in the acne problem and many more.

Now let us discuss all the problems caused by the extremely oily skin.

The major problems are that you get giant pores on your face and acne, making you feel like you are sixteen again. Well, being sixteen is sweet but not at the cost of your skin.

Isn’t it?

As I told you, the problems of oily skin aren’t limited to this.

Every morning you wake up and feel like someone just poured a spoonful of vaseline on your face.

That’s so annoying.

Your nose and forehead never miss a chance to draw people’s attention and trust me; it is not in the right way. You feel like you are always sweating and tired of wiping your face.

Those oil control creams and face washes are like your real friends.

But, it isn’t doing any good right?

And you know what’s the worst part when it is summer, and your oil gets mixed up with your sweat and gives your skin a super glow.

Your friends get scared away by that.

Moreover, when you are in the middle of a business meeting, your oily face makes everyone think that you are all tensed and sweating. This creates a negative effect on your professional life.

Enough with the problems.

The damage has already been caused.

There’s no reason to cry over the spilt milk.

Hey! Did I scare you? Calm down!!

I have a solution to your problems, in fact, the best solutions.

You can get rid of your oily skin and those annoying comments forever.

Yes, you will have beautiful, healthy and normal skin by only maintaining a specific routine and strictly avoiding some habits.

First of all, don’t run for pre-scripted drugs and expensive skincare products in the first place.

Since home remedies can reduce symptoms of oily skin.

Think about it.

If your problem can be cured naturally with 100% purely natural substances, why to go for synthetic materials in the first place.

Moreover, many problems can arise using cosmetic products if your skin is not compatible and is highly sensitive.

Home remedies for acne are best because of they a chemical-free, so it is better to try them at first place.

So, here we go…

1. Wash your face twice daily and switch to a glycerine soap instead of hard soaps.

Use blotting paper to soak extra oil from your skin.

This won’t reduce the amount of oil secreted but will save you from getting the greasy look.

Moreover, they are inexpensive and easily viable.

2. Honey is one of the best home remedies for acne for skin problems.

It has enormous advantages.

It’s antibacterial and antiseptic properties topping the list.

Since honey is a humectant(draws moisture from skin without replacing it) it helps in keeping the skin moist.

So, the moisturising and antiseptic part are played by honey.

How to apply honey?

Spread a thin layer, preferably raw, onto your face.

Wait for 10 mins and let it dry.

And rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Okay, now that’s quite easy.

3. Let us introduce cosmetic clay into our little skin play.

Cosmetic clay, often known as healing clay, absorbs skin oil and helps to soothe your skin.

Procedure: Add filtered water or rose water to about a teaspoon of clay until it forms a pudding-like consistency.

Apply the clay mixture to your face and leave it on until it dries.

Remove the clay with warm water and pat dry.

TipClay masks removed with water are much gentler on your skin than peel-off masks.

4. Oatmeal also helps absorb excess oil from your surface and along with that exfoliates the dead skin.

Oatmeal, when used in facial masks, can be combined with yoghurt, honey, or mashed fruit such as bananas, apples, or papaya.

Procedure: Combine 1/2 cup ground oats with hot water to form a paste.

Stir in 1 tablespoon honey.

Massage the oatmeal mixture into your face for about three minutes; rinse with warm water, and pat dry.

Alternatively, apply the oatmeal mixture to your face and leave it on for 10–15 minutes; rinse with warm water, and pat dry.

So Easy!!

5. Another natural remedy is by egg whites and lemon.

It helps in tightening the pores, and the acid from lemon helps in absorbing oil.

Procedure: Combine one egg white with one teaspoon freshly-squeezed lemon juice.

Apply it to your face, and leave it on until the mask dries.

Remove with warm water, and pat dry.

And people who are allergic to eggs don’t even think of trying it ever.

6. You can also use almond scrub, which will sop up excess oil and impurities.

Procedure: Finely-grind raw almonds to make three teaspoons.

Add two tablespoons of raw honey.

Apply to your face gently, in circular motions.

Rinse with warm water, and pat dry.

Again people allergic to nuts don’t use it.

There are several options out there, so try one or the other one.

Use any of the above remedies given above daily, and you will get fruitful results. Avoid skipping this routine, and also don’t listen to every person and end up putting a lot of things on your face. This will degrade the quality and resistance power of your skin.

Just hold on to one practice and continue it.

Now, when oily skin is caused by genetics, it is a bit hard to cure it.

Prolonged healthy practices under the surveillance of dermatologist might help in those situations. Hormones are also responsible for having oily skin.

In that case, try avoiding spicy and oily foods as much as possible.

Avoid using heavy cosmetics which might have soothing effects on your skin. Look for products labelled non-comedogenic that are less likely to clog pores.

Secretion of sebum and oil also occurs due to stress and anxiety.

So, avoid taking stress, meditate daily. Go for walks, socialise with people, make friends and try to stay as happy as you can.

You might also start therapy if you are extremely mentally disturbed.

Drink plenty of water.

Sleep for at least 7 hours a day.

Follow these simple things, and I am sure you will get rid of your oily skin very soon.

And again I am repeating since I suggested making homemade scrubs and packs check the ingredients before using it. Do not use substances that might have allergic reactions with your skin.

That’s all for today. I hope you like this list of home remedies for acne.

Keep smiling, and I’ll keep you updated with new tips and pieces of advice.
