Wander

Wander and Ponder during a travel journey | Travel Thoughts

Basic meaning of wandering is to move around or go to different places usually without having a particular purpose or direction, and then pondering means to think about something carefully.

So now if you combine these two together, i.e: Wandering and Pondering together it creates the most beautiful moment of someone’s life.

WE all have experiences of wandering and pondering, don’t we?

How about I share one of the mine experiences of wandering and pondering?

So on July 20th, 2018 From Mumbai to South of India, That’s where I travelled!

So I was travelling by train and I pretty much had loads of time to think, to observe, to wonder, to notice what’s going on.

As I was looking through the window, I saw so many things.

Basically, these were very simple ones, I even think that someone barely notices them.

As I was looking through the window I saw Small villages, I saw farms, mountains, trees etc.

But I also saw People walking, Kids playing cricket, Some were working etc.

That made me think many things, In what language would they be speaking?

What would be their way of thinking?

Would they be having some kind of bucket list?

If yes what would be on their bucket list?

How would their day start and end?

If I once met them, what would they think about me?

Would their schedules would also be like one of mine?

Thoughts do not have any definition or limits.

Mind can think about many things, even if some other person finds them silly.

You know why my mind thought of those things?

Its because I had seen one or two small houses in middle of a farm or barn land, And that was new for me, before that I never had seen such things.

And if you see something’s for the first time, Your mind ponders or say thinks a lot, even though the thoughts would be great one’s or the normal one’s.

Once you start to think and move you gain experiences, Experiences which help you to move ahead in your life.

Thinking about nature, Thinking about what will come ahead.

Wandering and Pondering helps you to escape the reality, And it is sometimes necessary to escape from reality.

It’s like going into your own world of thoughts.

Or the other part I can say is that “WE WANDER AND PONDER NOT TO ESCAPE LIFE, BUT FOR LIFE NOT TO ESCAPE US.”

YOU KNOW WHICH IS THE BEST PLACE TO GO?

THE ANSWER IS GO SOMEWHERE, WHERE NO ONE KNOWS YOUR NAME!

You know why travelling and pondering is important?

The answer you will find here is told by IBN BATTUTA-

“TRAVELLING LEAVES YOU SPEECHLESS, THEN TURNS YOU INTO A STORY TELLER.”

Let’s just elaborate this,

YOU TRAVEL

YOU THINK

AS YOU THINK YOU OBSERVE,

AS YOU OBSERVE YOU GET TO KNOW THINGS AND STORIES,

AS YOU GET TO KNOW STORIES,

YOU ARE LEFT SPEECHLESS

BECAUSE YOU FEEL THAT HAPPINESS OF LEARNING SOMETHING NEW,

BUT THEN TOO YOU HAVE YOUR EXPERIENCES TO TELL

AND THAT’S WHY THEN IT TURNS YOU INTO A STORYTELLER.

As you start travelling, As you start pondering, your mind and life gets to notice many new things!

WHICH INDIRECTLY GIVES YOU A SIGN, THAT HEY! YES YOU! WHY NOT TRAVEL MORE AND WRITE DOWN ALL YOUR EXPERIENCES IN A JOURNAL.

Have you ever thought about maintaining a journal?

Maintaining a journal of /about your travel stories is like writing your life down so that in future.

If you wanna go back to the same moment even if you can’t go to the same place all you have to do is open the journal, read the name of place and date read the stories that you wrote, and there you go!

Another exciting thing about journal is that your mind demands, to keep the journal perfectly decorated in the way you want to.

Whether it be the vintage way, modern way or some other way which you love.

One should always WANDER AND PONDER, BECAUSE IT GIVES YOU EXPERIENCES AND INNER PEACE.
