In the world full of Netflix and Amazon Prime, dramas have become a large part of our lives and somewhere down the line they affect us tremendously.

Be it the anticipation of an episode of “Game of Thrones” or a cute moment from “Permanent Roommates” we’ve all felt the same emotion together.

There are numerous series on numerous genres, love, romance, sci-fi, thriller, but a subsidy of these genres are majorly based on true feelings and bonds.

One such bond is that of friendship.

So here we are coming up with 10 TV/ Web series that we should totally watch with our friends and siblings as it would give us a chance to reflect on our relations as well.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

We’ve always imagined a boyfriend like Chandler, a girlfriend like Rachel and wants to be a foody like Joey in the Central Perk.

But more than anything this show gives major friendship goals.

The six friends in their 20’s teach us how friends can become family.

The sitcom was broadcasted from 1994-2002 and never lost its consistency over a period of 10 years.

It is still popular amongst people of all ages and stars Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlac, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER

Barney’s charm, Ted’s storytelling skills and the bond of friendship that they nurtured.

The ritual of watching Starwars and drinking at that bar even gave us some serious friendship goals.

Starring Neil Patrick Harris, Josh Radnor, Cobie Smulders, Alyson Hannigan, Jason Segel, this show was broadcasted over a period of 9 years with 9 seasons from 2005-2014 on CBS.

How I Met Your Mother is an amalgamation of love, comedy, romance and aptly depicts friendship as a lifelong bond with a grand twist in the end when Ted ends up marrying Robin.

TVF’S THE PITCHERS

There are many great shows that South Korean entertainment industry has given us.

School 2013 is one such popular story of two high school friends.

 This shows apart from friendship showcases various trials and tribulations that the youth of Korea has to face. 

Starring Kim Woo bin and Lee Jong suk (real-life friends as well) this is a great watch.

It has only one season with 16 episodes and was released on 2012 on KBS.

TVF’S TRIPLING 

Can siblings be friends?

And can you go on a road trip with siblings instead of friends in a vacation?

Well these are some questions that Tripling answers.

Based on the bonding of 3 siblings and the “situational comedy” that happens with them plus the turn of events land them in their parents’ house in Manali.

This show actually teaches you that not only our friends can become family overtime but also our family, primarily our siblings can be our dearest friends.

It has a total of 5 episodes and stars Sumeet Vyas, Amol Prashar and Maanvi Gagroo and was released on TVF in 2016.

BOYS OVER FLOWERS

Another big-time hit based on the Japanese Manga series stars Ku Hye-sun, Lee Min-ho, Kim Hyun-joong, Kim Bum, Kim Joon and Kim So-eun.

It was released in 2009 on KBS with 25 episodes.

This show is everything at once, be it comedy, romantic, sadness, sarcasm. 

More than anything the friendship between the main four friends is beyond comparison.

The story is about four friends and a girl Geum Jan Di who is dating Go –Jun Pyo the leader of the four friends. This show is one of the most popular shows of not only South Korea but around the world.

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

A total BFF material but utterly under the garb of secrets, based on the lives of four teenage girls who are constantly being threatened by an unknown foe.

Along with the terror of being caught and suspicion, these girls are finding their missing best friend.

The story is based on a novel series of the same name written by Sara Shepard.

This show entails all the mistakes that can be made amongst friends.

The drama is really amazing and holds the attention till the end. It stars Troian Ballisario, Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson and Sasha Pieterse. It was released in 2010 on Freeform.

REMIX

This might be the first high school show that you must have watched as a 2000’s kid.

The remix was set in an elite school “Maurya High” and revolved around the life of four kids who would get a grasp of the difficult situation, school bullies and fulfilled the dream of becoming pop music sensations.

This tale of ambition, race and revenge has an amazing essence of friendship which is depicted while the main characters help each other out and stand for one another.

The show starred Karan Wahi, Shewta Gulati, Priya Wal, Raj Singh Arora, Archana Malkhani and Kunal Karan Kapoor.

It was released in 2006 on Star one.

HUM SE HAI LIFE

High school romance, ambitions and high school friends, remain a memory forever.

Based on these lines, Hum Se Hai Life is about an aspiring boxer Sia who gets a scholarship in a top-notch high-class school.

She fights her way into the new school and makes an amazing friend like Arjun and a sweet love Raghav.

It is all about friends and the bond of friendship.

It actually celebrates love, life and above all friendship.

It starred Himansh Kohli, Abhigail Jain, Yuvraj Thakur and was released in 2011 till 2012 on Channel V.

REPLY ME 1997

Reply me 1997 is a Korean Drama that centres around the lives of six high school friends in Busan district of South Korea.

The show is set in a form of a timeline that goes back to the times of their high school and forth in their present lives as matured individuals.

The friends meet at a high school reunion dinner in 2012 where one of the couples was to announce their marriage.

The six girls revive their memories before their school reunion.

It stars Jung Eun-ji, Seo In-Guk, Eun Ji-Won, Shin So-yul, Hoya, Lee Si-eon.

It was released in 2012 on tv.
